Roadtrip with my Mum from the South Island to the North Island

Hello everybody, 

after almost 2 months in Te Anau it was time to move on. On the 12th of May my Mum arrived in New Zealand and she's going to travel with me for the next 6 weeks. Because of having only two weeks in NZ we did have a pretty tight timetable and so every night we slept in different towns. So we went to Milford Sound, Dunedin, then inland to Mount Cook and Lake Tekapo (beautiful weather all the time)...up to Christchurch (thank god - no earthquake while we were there) and via Kaikoura (where we did an amazing Dolphin Watch Tour with over 250 Dusky Dolphins) to Picton where we took the ferry to Wellington.
